Which skis to get

Ok, i am 5'10,150lbs. I ski 100% park, i like to do alot of rails, because the jumps suck at my mountain. so i have narrowed it down to these skis, i would like a slightly wider ski. T-halls,Pipecleaners,Walls,Dumonts. I can get all of these for a good deal, and i would liek to hear other people's insight on all of these skis. As of now, i ski 176 05/06 t-halls. Thanks.

T-halls,Pipecleaners,Walls,Dumonts.

Right off the top im going to rule out the pipecleaners cause ur going to use them for a completely defferent purpase then they are designed for

as for the other 3

if u like ur t-halls alot and i mean alot and wouldent mind ridin a very similar ski again then go for the T-halls other wise

move to the next 2

this is were its a real tos-up the wall are stiffer and symmetrical, the dumont are softer and not cemetrical...since u will be doing mostly rails having a symmetrical ski isnt drastically importent

so it comes down to flex and graphics really

can someone add 2 this?

yeah i was wondering how stiff the walls are, thats something i forgot to mention.....what other ski could u compare the stiffness too?

walls for sure. such a nice flex pattern. i am a fan of the dumonts also. this year they have wood core so its not going to be a problem keeping their lively-ness. they are both excellent skis. very durable. i am not a fan of the t-halls frankyl i think they have one the most boring graphics. tanner hall is killing the rasta theme, everything he has is rasta. why not get orignial and come up witht something else. anyway other than the graphics i thought that they were soooooper soft and when airing to rails they wiggled alot. didnt feel comfortable.

WALLS OR DUMONTS

The Walls flex was similar to the AR6 when I tested both those skis out. Definitely on the stiffer end of the park ski lineup.

The walls are a really solid ski. They just feel bomb proof. I definitely think they would hold up to all the rails you'll do.

I don't know about the dumonts tho. Haven't ridden them.

ok, so if i get the walls will they be too stiff to butter on? becuase im soo used to hwo soft my t-halls are.

Walls are a bit stiffer than the AR6's, which are quite stiffer then your T-Halls.

Dumonts are kind of in the middle-a medium flex.

The walls look bombproof, just like any volkl ski. Dumonts well, look well built, much like any salomon ski. I think its going to come down to price, and graphic. Both would be good chioces.

i wish i could, i would get them in a heartbeat if i could get them for a good price, but anyways, since ur saying the walls are way stiffer then my t-halls, i may not want to get them, maybe ill just go with another pair of t-halls.

I'd say the Walls for you. I haven't skied them, but volkl makes wicked bombproof skis, and symmetrical skis are soooo good for park......better swing wait, ski switch really really well. and I would mount those up with salomon sth 12 or 16 bindings, or maybe Marker Jesters.

i have brand new p12's for them not a fan of the salomon bindings. i'll give the jesters another year before i would consider getting them.

yeah, I think the p12s should be good. I have some older salomon bindings and they broke, but the ones this year everyone is amd about and they are really light. p12s I hear are quite durable though.

yes i know, i am going to use the p12's, i wasn;t going to use anything else unless i could get some fks 120's.

I'd go walls. I think Volkl has cleaned up this year and their skis seem really quality. Plus Walls are fully symmetrical.

Oh yeah! forgot about that! all 4frnt skis are 35% off for college students, but you ahve to sign up for their online store and prove to them taht ur enrolled (ie scan your student id and send it to them)

sry to double post, but I'd say either STLs or TNKs from 4frnt would be the best for park. TNKs are a little wider. My friend just bought a pair of STLs and they are pretty nice.
