Which Skis are best? HELP!

What is the best ski for the park? I usually hit large jumps, some boxes, and few rails. I'm thinking the LINE anthems or invaders, but i dont know. Help!
 
typical 1st post, but my personal recomendation, as always, is the AR6's. ive been around a bunch of f=different skism and these hold up and perform the best. it all comes down to personal preference and how much you are willing to spend.
 
yea im new to this. ive heard all kinds of skis, line anthem, line invader, k2 disorderly... i really dont know whats good. thanks
 
AR6s are dope if ur mostly just wantin to hit up the park

Id recommend the ARVs

just got em in the fall, and they are the BEST all around ski Ive ever ridden on

slays the park, and does wonders in pow and backcountry
 
lol i hate arvs

my last years pair broke so i e-mailed armada and they never e mailed me back so my shop gave me a deal on some new ones then i got this guy to mount them and he fucked up twice and woulndt do anything for me so i just got suspects

i find the arvs really really too soft for me but they are super fun to butter on
 
dont buy k2s if your not hitting too many rails supsects are a solid jump ski but fall apart after rail use. I think lines would be too soft for big jumps,especially the anthems. Armada seems like a super good ski, i dont know anyone who has had seriouis problems with thier armadas. Depends how much park you ski but if thats where you spend most of your time the AR6s are good and if you ski outside the park about half the time the ARVs are really good
 
invaders r nice for rails and boxes but i ripped the core out of mine hittin jumps so i would say get a little stiffer ski if u mostly hit jumps.

 
between those two i would go with the anthem's, the invaders are just soo flexy, i dont know how great they would be on jumps
 
why does anybody with under 20 posts always want lines, from what ive seen in lines have a lot of probelms and i mean they break really easily

whats your price range newb?
 
Well I have been riding line since they started making twin tis and their durability has take huge steps forward. I mean look at skis like the Chronics, they are seriously bomb proof.

I have the first gen anthems (the one with the wolf) and they have held up fine.... no major core shots and no edge problems and that is about 2 hard seasons of skiing which is pretty good for a ski.
 
I totally agree with you, I skied ARVs for 2 seasons and they turned to noodles on me, now they are strictly pow/rock skis.

The Salomon suspects are the best twins i have ever skied, ever.... they rip on groomers, they can carve backwards, they are very poppy and stiff, and extremely durable....

good luck finding some tho...
 
you're suspects are durable. Everyone i k now that has them the edge has ripped out and they have had massive problems with them
 
AR6 is a good overall ski, doesnt really stand out in one particular area that is why it is such a good ski it is so versatile.

If you are looking for a GREAT jumping ski the Chronics are the way to go.
 
heh. your retarded. lines USED to have durability problems. theyve gotten so much better. chronics are one of the best skis around in my opinion. they kill it everywhere. i havent tried em in deep pow, but theyre the perfect east coast ski.
 
Ok, my price range is anywhere under $600. I want stiff, durable skis that are great for jumps. Twin tip (obviously), and under a 90mm width (like ### -
 
Chronics Yo!!! They have everything you want. SUPER durable, very poppy, nice and stiff, very stable on jumps and landings, and good overall. Plus if you get this years the gree ones next year they will be cheap and you get a dope ski.
 
i love my invaders and i slay park and pow in them. I think they are sick but if your looking to hit bigger jumps get anthems
 
well I'm not exactly a rail rat so I can't comment on their edge durability on rails, but I've ripped them through trees and smashed roots and rocks with minimal base and edge damage (I weigh 210 and I like to think I ski pretty hard).

I don't take my new skis on rails, I have an old pair of CR pro models that I use when I'm being a rail rat.
 
Fischer Addicts are pretty sweet. Top sheet chips a lot but overall they're stiff and so smooth on rails. It's also symmetrical which is a major plus. Cheap aswell.
 
I bought mine from proctor jones, all of the shops around town were totally sold out, and apparently Salomon wasn't making/sending any more of them
