Which Ski is better for the price

yea, the guy has his name on them and dosent even ski them. im saying ar6, just cause i have those and the thalls and im totally biased.

That is stupid that dumont doesn't skis is own ski why would he come out with his own ski and not ski it that is just dumb. At least Tanner Hall skis his own ski. But don't get me wrong the dumont skis looks sweet but it's not all about the look it has to preform to.
 
I've heard nothing but amazing things about the suspects. Everyone that has ridden them has been super stoked. They're pretty much the same as the Dumont, just $100 less and more hyped.You can't go wrong with armada either. Same price as the suspect too...
 
actually how often do you see tanner riding thalls? He is usually riding Alphas/ Pipe cleaners or prototypes in the park.. just saying..
 
ar6 is the cheepest.

hmmmm suspect and dumonts exact same ski just the dumont is beefed up.

the walls are sick, ive hurd word of pull outs though

and the ar6 is completely different compared to the suspects and dumonts and walls.

suspects and dumonts flex is pretty stiff. wall is a little less stiff and the ar6 is a noodle, its so soft u could land switch in pow..

my choice would be salomon
 
the walls are like the stiffest park ski i have ever felt. but i have not seen the Dumont/suspect in real life but Salomon is not known for stiff skis. and all armadas are noodles. i would go wall because its a sick ski and you wont show up to the mountain and see a ski rack full of walls like you will suspects and Dumonts
 
he rides them a lot. Maybe not so much in the 604 edits but he does, and even if he didn't ride them at all they're still an amazing ski.
 
yeh i agree, i didnt mean it to sound like i was saying that they are not a sick ski. thalls are sick for sure.
 
personally armada's are too stiff for me, i used to ride the ar6's but didn't enjoy them. you should check out coreUPT they have sick prices on all their skis included with bindings and are basically all pro models. legitimate names on that team as well. some say theyre all the same as dynastars which if thats the case would be a pretty flexible ski, more then the salomons and armadas definitely.

just my 2 cents, but since the skis you asked about are all pretty stiff. i would go with armada. although stiff, extremely durable and stable ski.
 
the AR6 or the Wall

depending on if you want a hard ski(the wall) or a softer ski (the AR6)

but there shouldn't be much difference

you will be completely happy with either one
 
almost everything in that post was somehwat, if not completley wrong. Simon Dumont did use his pro models, just not his 09's. In the new movie Reasons, he was indeed using his NEW Dumonts, so i am strating to beleive that it was true that he just needed to get used to them...TANNER HALL DOES NOT SKI HIS RPO MODEL, HE SKIS THE PIPE CLEANER!!!no hate man, just a few things wrong with that one. Id say go for suspect or the wall. But suspect is really good for the price. Pretty soon its going to be 450, its just 400 right now.
 
not sure if you are looking to buy or not but someone has been listing 07 and 08 ar6s on ebay for the past couple weeks. i just lifted mine for 250 bucks brand new. the seller is really easy to work with too.
 
i would go for the suspects or the ar6 of the one you listed. its sketchy event thinking about the dumonts. giving the fact that simons barely using them.: he did the quarterpipe hit with them if im not mistaken.
and some other skis you should look into is the 4FRNT TNK and STL, i was riding the TNK last season and im not switching them out before they either are to small(im sixteen and i might just grow a bit yet) or they just get to ripped up.
 
I wouldn't rule out the Dumont's just because he doesn't ski

them...They are the same ski as the suspects if I am not mistaken with

added edge protection and his graphics and name...You decide whether

I personally wouldnt get the Dumont's becase I don't think the edgearmor is worth it.

Ive def seen Tanner on the THalls in some stuff....i think that hes usually on the pipe cleaners because alot of the scenes you see him in hes in the pipe or the filming they were going to do most of was going to be in the pipe.....thats what i think at least
 
dont get the Dumont's simon is skiing his ski from last year with this years graphics on it!!! go with the suspect
 
I am sorry but the Dumont and Suspect are totally diferent skis, the Dumont costs more because it has what Salomon Calls Pulse Pad Technology in the tip and tail. Pulse Pad helps reduce vibration and keep the ski feeling damp and less chattery. I have heard form sources that will remain anynomus that Simon likes his pro model ski from last year more than this years. Simon's world record quaterpipe sucess, check out the skis. The Dumont this year is an awesome ski though. As for the Volkl Wall it is much stiffer than the two Salomons.
 
Oh and the reason Simon likes last years ski is supposedly two reasons, Top cap construction V.S. Vertical Sidewall and the 08 ski was stiffer.
 
Hmmm...Nowhere on the site does it say the Dumont's have Pulse pad. Some of the all-mountain skis say it but the dumont's don't.

....Everyone knows Simon likes last years better
 
my 2009 volkl walls are better and a better price at $400 shipped.. buy them up.. i really want to sell them!
 
yea, cuz i saw this product video about the dumonts(08/09). And obviously, simon "douchebag" dumont were giving his review on the skis. And quite francly, he didnt seem that stoked.
on the other hand you had sammy giving his review on the suspects, seem sooo stoked on them. im not sure if it was their personalities coming up to the surface or if it was that sammy actually was stoked on the suspects.
the only thing i know, is that i would NEVER buy the dumont 08/09 if i had the choice.
go suspect if you want to have salomons!
 
That would be a great way of deciding which ski to get... except for the fact that other than the edge armor and the graphics, it is THE EXACT SAME SKI!!!
Saying you would NEVER buy the Dumonts, but are stoked on the Suspects is a very uneducated thing to say. Unless you just hate extra edge armor, your argument makes no sense.
So, moral of the story: Feel free to hate on the Dumonts if you would like, but don't then turn around and recommend the Suspects. Even though it seems to be a sweet fad right now, it is simply rediculous.

there is sum last years THALLS on ebay rite now for 300 bucks. i know the dude who is sellin um and he is legit for sure. super sick condish super sick price. mounted with solly bindings. the dude works at a ski shop and have always been in the best condish.
 
haha, okey i see now that im really colored by the fact that i dont like dumont that much.
as you said earlier, 07/08 dumonts is another story.i rode them for about a month, but then during a huge bail i broke both the skis and bindings.

thanks for pointing out that im uneducated, since the fact is that right now im gettin GOD DAMN EDUMACATED
