Buying 2 new pair, already sold all others

6'2" 180lbs

Rip Hard

Whistler/Blackcomb

Here's the dilema. Definatly want a powder ski for pow days. Definatly want a freestyle ski for playing around (park and trees), and definatly want a ski capable of hard lines on days when the powder is all gone.

I was thinking

Bacons: for powder/jibin in trees/park

Prophet 100: Hardlines/ allmnt(hear great things about these sticks)

or

Prophet 130: powder/ trees

Blend: Park/jibbin in trees/ allmnt

The bacons just seem so sick, i like the idea of a fat freestyle ski. But then theres no point for another freestyle ski like the blends. Prophet 130 also seem sick, but then i cant have bacons because i wont have a solid allmnt ski. So that is why i've come up with these 2 combos

Catch what im trying to say here? I little long i know.

Also, i love line and would like to stay loyal

bacons prophets is a good combo but would you ski the prophets on hardpack days and not go into the park

wouldnt you want your park ski to also be your charging ski

ep pros?

you can still rip the park on the bacons and ive only heard great things about the 100's

bacons and 100's sound like a great combo. the 100 will blow your mind, they are absolutely sick on anything & bacons sound like a super fun powder ski (no experience on bacons though). if you're left without a true park ski u could still take the 100 for a few hits here and there but you can always get a pair of beat up sticks for park. go with the 1st combo for sure.

Thats definatly one of the issues im trying to solve.

If thats the case i would probaly want the blends. But as stated above the prophet 100 would be a better charging ski.

Bacons and Blends would leave me without a serious big mountain ski.

How good are the blends as big mountain? anyone know?

Personally, I would go with the Prophet 130 and the Bacon combo. Bacon as an everyday jib/moderate park ski, with some powder when it's around, and the Prophet 130 as a powder/charging ski.

EP pros were my first choice but for some reason ive talked myself out of them. I was thinking maybe they're too BC designed, and would not perform aswell on the hardpacked park.

Plus they might be too big for park, then i would not have a park ski.

EP Pro's definatly look sick though

From what I've heard is they can eat up the groomers. I really want a pair of 130's, but I think I am going to wait until the price drops a little bit. Some people swear by them in all conditions except park obviously.

They're massive, kinda what you would expect. Just a lot of work, but they still perform moderately fine, being that they arent reverse camber or sidecut.

I had Bacons/Blends last year... and it was a SICK combo. I think you should go that route.

I also had anthems for park days... but blends kill it too.

blend/130s IMO perfect setup..bacons and 100s great setup but leaves you without the lighter park ski...the blends and 130s are perfect cause if u want lines videos the blends can shread ANYTHING leaving you with you 130s as a big deep pow ski and the blend for a fatter park ski that u can take in the trees and knee deep pow with no problem
