WHICH SIZE AR5?

Alright.. well I'm definitely getting a pair of the skis... but I don't know whether to get the 170's or the 176's.... I'm 5'7' and weigh 150... no im not fat... so yeh.. which one you think sounds better..?

 
it depends, if you are just doing park, 170, if you ski all mountain 176.

so you want a longer ski if its stiff or a shorter ski?

I don't know much about that ski but at your weight a 170 in almost any ski would be good. I don't know if you'll grow or not, but something to think about. Will you be taking this ski anywhere else besides the park??

im 5'3 and 105lb and i thinking about getting 170's is that too big? i had 160's this year and they didn't see big at all.

stept u should be fine with 170's because i had 165's when i was like 5 feet

midwest- If i were you I would go with the 170. You don't need the stability for speed (unless you spend time vacationing in bigger mountains.....then you can rent) and you dont' need the length for flotation. 170 is plenty big enough to get you down the hill safely and carve a few runs as fast as your hill will allow.

Stept-

I think 170 is way too long for you......I would stick with a 160....you'll be sorry. There's no need to go up to a 170 unless you're freakin downhilling.

 
im 5'11 and 145 pounds so i think im safe with the 176.... what does everyone else think?

See I think you're borderline. I would think about what type of skiing you do, how fast you ski...etc. Doesn't matter what I think though, go with what you'll be happy with.

 
i'm midwest too, and it doesn't hurt to have shorter skis, 170 should be fine. are you still growing?

i'm on 164's and i'm 5'6' (they're barely even short...)

yeh im definitely still growing.. am only 14... am supposed to be 5' 11'... who knows when i'll grow though.. im hoping to ski these for at least the next two seasons.

dude id say 170, im 5'10'' and way 135 pounds, and i have 176's, it depends on weight alot, thats why i didnt get really big cuz i am skinny

whos in da house, SACA is in the house!!! hahahahmuhahahah
 
so if im 511 and 140 i will be alright with 176cm

ya go with 176, im just about that 135 and almost barely 5'11'', it was a change from skiboarding to skis, and i bought the Skogens, i dont no what ur gettin prolly armada judging by the thread title, but ya, they work good for me pretty good for spinning and give good speed, decent for doing butters anyways look into skogens too, but ya 176 is a good size in my eyes
