Which shoes should I choose?

oh I guess they do I just didn't check. I really need to know how they stack up to some 5.10 freerunners...

All you narcissistic cunts need the shut the fuck up. What's unattractive is seeing pink names giving their ever so painful, and typical opinions in threads about whether something is a turn on to them or not. No one fucking cares that you massive hookers will fuck a guy if you like the shoes he's wearing or if he can cook (that's your job BTW). NS has been plagued with these types recently, so please, keep your womanly feelings to yourself until you get fucking learnt. Or suck moar mod dick, lololololol.

with all due respect, that's a really stupid thing to say. The only way I can get amazing in the end is by looking foolish in the beginning. And do i care? No! I enjoy myself and I get some exercise. I mean you could say the same thing about skiing, skateboarding, or anything else requiring practice. And to that 3rd female who agreed with sarah please shut up (no intended offense I'm just getting pissed off by this 'turn off' thing). I would make a poll if I wanted your opinion on if parkour is a turn off (which I will not do). So unless you're pitching what shoe I should consider buying, go type somewhere else.

Go with the FiveFingers, I use them for CrossFit and when running they force you to run in a completely different style and grip the pavement extremely well. The strength I have gained in my feet is very noticeable, and they also help with your posture when you're just walking around in them. They do look pretty goofy, but I've only gotten good comments about how cool they are.

man this is hard, but since I'm still leaning I'm considering getting either 5.10 freerunners or some k swiss ariakes (I really really need to know if one of them has some defining features over the other) and then buy some Vibram FiveFingers from Mountain Equipment Co-op in the spring/summer since that's the only time they stock them.

you're a dick. If you're not gonna contribute anything positive to my original post then DON'T FUCKING POST ANYTHING BECAUSE I'M GETTING PISSED OFF BY THIS BULLSHIT!!! GAAAAAAAH!!

lol at the stupid bitches who said this was a turn off...i think its pretty cool and im actually just got kinda wet thinking about it

Finally! A woman who agrees Parkour is cool/hot! Get a video camera, shoot your best lines, and then throw the song Red Angus Limosine from EDIAS and then you got some cool beens!

I mean come on, parkour requires you to increase your physical strength and fitness, and what woman doesn't like a toned man? Most of the guys (and even one girl!) in my group are pretty buff!

I also would like to thank those people telling me that those nike freerun+'s would get torn apart under parkour training.

I clicked on this thread to give you advice on shoes after I realized I didn't.

I was going to say that my cousin has a pair of the five fingers shoes, and he swears by them. I've used them before and they're awesome. The human foot isn't designed to have arch support or anything, and modern shoe technology has made our arches/feet really weak. So if you want optimum grip/agility, get those shoes. They're painful at first and your feet will be sore, but eventually you'll have crazy strong feet and it wont be an issue.

But you're a dick so fuck you.

Look, I didn't feel like taking any crap at the time and those pink names (except LadySaGa) really agitated me. I appreciate your further input and despite the sour note you ended on I'll give you your deserved karma my good sir.

I would vote on the nikes. I have a pair and love them so much. They have pretty good arch support. And mad props to u dude for the parkour stuff, it takes so much psychical strength. Like I see those guys downtown Denver and they are wild! Good luck with the shoe decision!

I've tried those toe shoes and they're amazing. It's basically like a sticky, slightly cusiony glove for your foot. I know someone who runs cross-country and hikes in them, and they're supposed to strengthen your foot and stimulate your muscles.

I'm going for the 5.10s, then the FiveFingers in the spring when they're in stock. Big thank you to everyone, +k to everyone who helped.
