Which salomon boot?

has anyone tried the spk boots outside of the park yet? i've been looking at salomon boots since my foot fits in them the best, but i can't decide if i should get the foils, guns, or spks. i plan on doing mostly park but i'm going to do some skiing out of the park and back country. it looks like the spk boot wasn't really designed to go out of the park so i'm worried it might be terrible as soon as i get into powder even though i'm not going to be doing it often, because it isn't in a skier stance position. which do you guys think i should get?

i realize threads have already been made like this one, but they don't really answer my question, they're more just spk hype

since when does that matter to anyone on this website? Kids don't want boots that fit, proof being how much they love the rampage, or how most of them ski boots in the 28-30 size range.

im in the same boat as you. im getting the spk's just because if you can actually ski, the boot won't really affect it all that much.

I know I know, you're right, however I still try to enlighten the children for some reason, I really shouldn't care though

there there, we all care once in a while. It's ok, it'll pass. You'll feel better in the morning.

^Agreed You would be suprised how much a good fitting boot changes things i had 28 pro models last year and i though they were great but when i measured my foot i actually am like a 27 so this year i got the guns in a 27 its so much quicker and more responsive dont buy big boots unless you ski like 75 or up percent park cause it does change your skiing alot

^^^^^^^^ You kinda got hijacked there sorry but i would say if your gonna do like 70 % park the spk would be alright unless your heavy if you are go with the foil. The gun is salomons falcon fit so its considered a low volume boot so if most salomons fit your foot the guns may not fit as well cause salomons kinda run higher volume to start
