Which Pass?

I'm moving to Portland this summer and thinking about a season pass next year... where should I get one? Plus are there/where are any public parks open during june/july at hood?

do the fusion pass. gives you unlimited access to both timberline and ski bowl. kinda the best of both worlds. got park at t-line and some back country/steeps at ski bowl. plus both resorts are closer to portland then meddows is. a meddows pass would cost you more then the fusion pass anyway.

have fun next winter!

It depends on what you want to ride, if you want to ride only park get a pass to tline/skibowl. Timberline's terrain other then the park is crap. If you want a shit park with decent terrain get a pass to meadows.

If you want great steep terrain and the best park on hood, then get a fusion pass! If you want to get really good at standing in liftlines for hours.....meadows is the place to be!

Meadows is overall the best of the 3 major resorts at Hood. Although Meadow's parks cannot compete with Timberline, the parks are satisfactory. And the terrain at meadows blows everything else at hood out of the water.

This year I did a meadows pass but got a tline spring pass. Tline is absolute garbage in the winter because it is always whiteout and windy. especially in november/december.

i agree...it depends on what you want to ride. If you like park get a fusion pass. Timberlines park cant be beat and when ski bowl is OPEN (cause its so low on the mountain its hard for them to stay open) it has some really good terrain and it has some sick night skiing. Meadows has way more terrain than timberline but they also have a bunch of different terrain parks including a half pipe which timberline doesnt have during the winter season. But like everyone else says meadows parks cant compare to timberlines!

Meadows then to Ski Bowl on a big dump day during midweek. Which is all you should be skiing anyways. Fuck weekends.

Okay so everyone answered the question what kind of pass to get. But no one answered where to get one. Hahaa i will! umm the best place to get the pass is at Portland Ski and Snowboard Show at the expo center. They have one every year. You can get really cheap stuff there. and passes. heres a link ---> http://www.skifever.org/index.php?CategoryID=2

fusion. T line has good park for spring time and for when its not snowing much. Skibowl has the best terrain on the mountan, and i will say that includes meadows. Meadows has lots of good terrain. but i think skibowl is way better. Plus if you get fusion you have night skiing at skibowl which is amazing, if theres snow week nights at skibowl are the best place to be, and if not you can just shred some rails after school/work

Look into the 4X4 pass at meadows it was 449 last year prices are supposed to be announced soon. See ya up there!

15 minutes sounds like a long time.. but then again im used to montana lift lines. should i expect something different out here?

I guess its all relative. Even at the big resorts (Big Sky, Big Mountain, Moonlight) in MT where Im from 15 minutes would be a super long wait. I would never buy a lift ticket to wait in line an hour. There is so much out there to ski that doesnt require a chair lift.
