That for a second, I can feel lighter than air. I've been pretty weighty all my life so I always feel it, until I crest a kicker or hop up on a box. Then I feel it. all of it's gone for a few seconds. Plus the benefit of it being such a grueling sport physically, it helps me lose the weight, so eventually I'll be able to fly higher and higher. Up and up, until eventually it takes me longer and longer to come back down, and then. Then, I'll know I've succeeded in skiing.
