Which one should I buy?

i assume you are talking about the boots. The XXX is really stiff, and the X is softer. I personally would go with the X because i like a soft boot, but it is all by choice. I'd say try them both on and see what fits you better, flex them a bit and see what seemes nicer to ya.

the x is much more forgiving, and softer, nicer for the park, the xxx is damm stiff, but alot of support

 
I'll maybe buy XXX (I can get them 25 % cheaper than X) but don't know if they are too stiff so is it possible make boot softer somehow?

 
get the XX it ranges from 80-90 flex and

the freeride X ranges from 70-80 flex

get the XXX my brother has them and all he does is freeride in the durango mountain backcountry. they also have a bit of a twin tip design, so they can be rode backwards.
