Which one of you did this?

Ok guys. Recently I moved out of my former home in the ski-able zone (Wash. DC) to Wilmington, NC, a profoundly snowless place, the nearest mountain being a mere 4 hours away. So, will one of you explain what an Alta sticker is doing in Wrightsville Beach?! I know it was one of you that did this.

Also more backstory: I'm on a school sailing team and we practice at the Carolina Yacht Club, where I found the sticker on a street post outside the parking lot. It definitely surprised me.

Well i was looking for chads gap from the bottom of alta and i ended up in north carolina

I havn't been there in years, but I'm pretty sure I threw an NS sticker up somewhere on the island, maybe between the blockade runner and the cost guard station...

rich guy who can afford yacht club can also afford going to alta and get stickers which sit in his car until he decides to stick on a telephone box

so thats why I could not find it...

Ski patrol blew it up. However the explosion didnt destroy it, rather launched it. there are myths and legends as to where it could be. Pretty sure you will be able to find it if you watch all national treasures

Bruuhhh no way I could afford to actually be a member of the yacht club, not only do I not own a boat but as I said I also just moved here. Besides, even if I (my family) had the money to join, there's like a 32 year waitlist or some crazy shit like that for membership. Most of the members have families who have passed their membership down for several generations.

lol I know, that's like half of the island. I can't quite remember but I thought I got it on the back of a road sign closer to the blockade, but it's been so long I have no clue, it may have been removed too

haha I never said you could afford that, but there is like a 0% chance someone from ns put that sticker there

I saw an NS sticker on some kids laptop at school once. Asked him about at and he just said "skiing is gay" and stared at me until I walked away.

If you ever move to CO, my friend would love to have you race with him. Lasers and 420s are his jam (I think, I don't sail but those names ring a bell)

I do have a dream of going to CU Boulder haha, but I'm still a noob in terms of sailing, I only started a few months ago. I'll most likely have more experience by the time I go to college tho.
