Which of the 2 types of turf is best?

i went to my local home depot. and they had:

one turf that was cheaper, but had 2 layers (the green actual carpet part and rubber base holding it together)

another turf that was more expensive, but had 3 layers (green carpet part, rubber base holding the carpet part together, and a hard plastic(?) bottom base)

My question is: which would be better to buy? and why?

I am going to say the first one, with 2 layers. You are going to want something that will form to the ground you are skiing on and I dont think the second option would work that well. Honestly the second. It may tear apart so be careful with it. Soap and water works great.
