pretty much any brand that has a removable battery OR a player with a fixed battery with a REALLY good track record for long term use without any problems.

at least 5 gig, the sync program needs to be super easy to use. i love itunes, but i hate ipods.

help me out, thanks.

dont go above 250usd

easy to install...i dont want to rip the case open. and i dont want one of those backpack things that go on the back of it

ive been reading reviews, still seems like the new generations are pretty hazy. since they havent been around very long, no one knows how long they last, and apple doesnt field test them.

basically...i dont want to get FUCKED shelling out 300 bucks for an mp3 player that will only last 1 year. i dont want to deal with the warranty crap, but still, i want it to last more than a year. at least 2. im mad paranoid about this ipod battery crap.

plus, the value. i can get 6 gigs for the same price as a 2gig nano. which i gay. like i said, i have no problem laying down some cash to get more space, im just skeptical about the battery.

ive got a sony nw-hd1. its 20gig. holds way more then a 20 gig ipod and is half the size of a 20 gig ipod. the music organizer it uses is called sonic stage and i like it a lot

sony makes some sick ones, mad $$$ tho.

i ended up picking up an old ipod mini this year of mad cheap.

even tho i wanted the new 30 or 60 gig.

But im poor so i had to settle.

dude, have you ever changed the din on your bindings? its actually that easy. you take a jewlers screwdriver, and pop the back off, unplug the battery from the cable, and put the new one on, pop it back together, done.

i have this one, like a shuffle but better becaus eit has a screen and its cheaper, battey has been fie for me, ive had it for like 10 months
