to ski any of that stuff in that pic youd have to have like perf condit for 2 weeks with no new snow for it to settle or it would avalanche on you so fast you woudlnt know that your not skiing anymore

Certianly not where i'm from..

anyone ever been to Serre Chevalier, France???

Im heading there at the end of the year and would love any info on the BC if you can help!

thanks

yes, been there.

hope you're staying for a while because it very rarely gets dumped on.

when it does, it's ill.

ill be there for about 10 days..what sort of snow coverage are we talking here?

(bare in mind im coming from australia which is lucky to get a 5 foot base through the season)

its a very, very dry climate in that area.

very often its ice and manmade snow all over the place, lots of rocks too.

its cool when it dumps, good chutes and tree runs and hucks, but statistically its one of the worst places in the alps.

Any of those places make Jackson or Silverton or Whistler or any other mountain in North America look tiny.

Best of all, no ropes or rules!

Europe is the best.

After that, South America, places like Las Lenas or Valle Nevado.

alright one...some ppl don't have the cash to go to all the way to europe.. and whistler is amazing, best in north america

alright, two... some people live in europe and the terrain here is so sick the thought of going to america doesn't even cross our minds! except for sick parks maybe...
