a table is a table top jump, which is creatively named due to its flat top. tabling i guess woulc be coming up short, and breaking your face. overshooting is going too far, missing the landing, and breaking your face.

Overshooting definately- my worst injuries in the park have been from overshooting because you are generally going faster/more momentum and are hitting the snow from farther up- thats the worst feeling ever- is going huge and then realizing you have overshot the landing and are about to case it... hard

overshooting by far, even if yur on a 60 foot table when ur in the air and u see that landing flying under u its a bad feeling

i tabled a table (60 footer)and i coulnd't ski for 3 weeks,When i finally was healed,i got food intoxication.

My conclusion is that we should all put some seeds under the ground in some hot country(like mine,where the heat is too hot to move 3 feet away from the swimming pool)and just let it grow,because when i get old i wanna get stoned,but in order to get high i need to improvise some techniques for the growth of pot.
 
id rather overshoot a little jump than undershoot a big one... but overshooting a big one= passing out.

I didn't know people died form overshooting them? I have never heard of that, it must suck if that happens. Either way if you land upside down on the transtion you can easily compress vertebrae, and if you take too big of a hit landing on flats you can still compress vertabrae. Either way, your screwed.

I would definately say knuckling switch is worse, for me at least, last time that happened, I tried to compress my body the best I could to absorb it, and when I got done my back was throbbing. Usually when I overshoot stuff and land flat, I feel I'm a little better prepared than casing switch, because that's your bodies natural way of absorbing impact.

tabling, when you table, the landing is perfectly flat, when you overshoot, there is almost always a little bit of slope.

overshootings allways worse because you go farther, after casing a 50 repeatedly(the run in was to short by alot) i could not ski for a week

 
I say overshooting is worse. Thats how I blew my knee. But I've had two friends get paralyzed. One didnt clear a 60 footer. The other overshot a 30. Getting hurt sucks

 
I would say tabling because not only does it hurt but you look like a beginner jackass. If you over shoot people say 'damn the kid got balls' where as if you table 'what a pussy, he deserved to fall'

 
Overshooting. I used to overshoot huge fucking tables to flats and be fine when I was younger, now I have a fucked up back and knee and if I overshoot the smallest bit I am in extreme pain. But overshooting never puts me out for long periods of time, just hurts for like 3 days, and usually that is just school days, if I am skiing afterwards I just stick to rails. No park pipe or bumps. Tabling is pretty sucky too though, but I'd say is you overshoot enough you look more like a jackass than if tabling.

landing switch right on the knuckle and bounceing all the way to the bottom of the landing...then your feet and head hurt

 
tabling is def worse on big jumps. on small jumps like 20-30 overshooting is worse cause on like 60fts the landing is huge, so you must be overshooting by alot if you miss it.

 
for some reason I never get hurt much when I overshoot or undershoot big jumps, maybe its nice soft non-icy tahoe snow,, but anway, I really don't like it when u land switch right on the knucle and bounce the rest of the way down
