Hockey or Basketball?

I feel that in Basketball when a team goes down the court they have a damn good chance of scoring a basket? Not the case in Hockey, and Hockey is faster and more violent. Therefore I find Hockey to be much more exciting?

basketball is definitely a ton more exciting, a tournament college bball game, being at the stadium is so sick, people dont stop cheering the whole game, and every single moment is excitiing, hockey is boring because half the time they skate around and do nothing, and the only cool parts are when there are big hits, but that only happens like once a game, and im not stupid enough to watch a game just for the hits, basketball is way more exciting because the games can change so fast, if you have a one goal lead with a min left in hockey, 90% of the time you win, basketball is completely different and much more exciting and fast paced

how is a hockey game exciting, when half of the time the goalie is sitting behind thenet and then passing the puck up the boards, and then the defense on the other team shoots it way down the court and the same thing happens, its boring to me

yea i know they make plays and its really not hard to see what they are doing, but in basketball there are so many other things that you probably dont understand like off the ball movement, pics, all the types of defense you can play, and nothin is more exciting than a big basketball play, the only exciting thing in hockey is goals every once and a while, ill admit fighting is kinda cool, but if you wanna see a fight watch boxing, those fights are more interesting, and a big hit is like a good block in basketball, but blocks occur more often and are more exciting i think

No, a big save is like a big block, only better, because he saved a goal, not 2 points that can be evened up easily in about 15 seconds. There's nothing in basketball that can compare to T-Linden hammering someone through the glass.

There seems to be too much luck involved with Hockey, you never know if a shot is going to deflect off of someone and go in and that could be the deciding goal. Lucky plays in hoops happen but usually don't affect the game too much, Fisher's shot was lucky, but there was still a tremendous amount of skill involved to be able to get the shot off and hit it, that bastard.
