Which is better rails or half-pipes?

I have alawys een wondering what people like more Rails or half-pipes now I am going to see by all the people who are posting in this forum.

i have a fear of going big in the pipe, ill try almost anything on big booters or tech rails but boosting in a pipe freaks me out especially after all my accidents
