Which Ipod Shuffle is better? 1st or 2nd?

I am looking at some and ebay and i am trying to figure out which one is better.

I know that the 1st gen has a usb on the bottom so i dont understand how to charge it.

But which one is better?

seriously though which one do you think is better? I really doubt they took their original shuffle and made it shittier to release a new version.

anyway, I have a second gen and it's baller.

I actually like the older one better. The USB connection meant you could recharge it off any computer, and it also functioned great as my jump drive. Those fuckers are sturdy too, I sent mine through the wash AND dryer TWICE and it still worked fine. The newer ones are smaller and have more memory, but lost so much of the functionality that the older ones had.
