which giro helmet???

i need a new helmet, and im pretty sure i will buy one of the giro helmets.. which one do you think is the coolest and most practical?? i think i like 9mx a little better than the others, but doesn't the visor get in the way when you want to take off the googles?? and how much do the tuneup cost?

Eh Voila

Definitely the Giro 9. Really light, great protection, and i think it looks cool too. I have a regular 9, so I'm not too sure about the MX, but it looks like the visor would get in the way of goggles. If you buy the tune-ups from a shop they'll be like $30-35.

the Giro 9 seems to be the one that most people like, but if your into all big mountain like backcountry and trees then you should get the Giro Flint or Mad Max S

the nine and the fuse are very similar, but the fuse has a little more protection but is overpriced. Fuse i guess could be considered top-of-the-line. Not worth the money in my opinion.

I have the 9.MX, and I really like it. It's super comfy, and you can take off the visor if you don't like it. It kinda does get in the way of taking off your goggles, but I usually leave mine on the whole time so it doesn't bother me much. I got the tune-ups too, they sound super good and never crackle or get static. It is worth every penny.

i have a giro mx semi, which is a bike helmet, but they're exactly the same, and it's great, the nine-9 is pretty wicked, i have bad lieutenant, and it's good, tuneups would be sweet, but if you got earbuds, then why do you need them?

did you now that giro has only single crash protection helmets? that means if you take 1 hard fall and hte styrophome cracks its pretty much useless. if you want a good helmet that doesnt look as cool as giro nines, get a pro tec. it can take multi hard hits.

^And once you crack it, if you do, you send it back to Giro for a new one, free of charge.

I have a nine MX and I really like it. The removable vents are nice, and it is wicked light. I like the visor, I think it looks better than without one.

i got one friend....let's call him philip(actually that's his name)

who made fun of me for getting a helmet,

'helemets are gay...they make you look gay, why would i buy one?'

now that is the defining exampel of what snowboarding is becoming.

i have the 9 also and i love it...but i kinda wish i woulda gotten the 9mx but whatever. i have a huge head so i got the xl but its still kinda small on me. but the helmet is great...especially with tune-ups

Put your goggles around you neck first

Then put on your helmet,

Then pull your goggles onto the helmet...

Reverse order to remove helmets,,, goggles don't get in the way

yeah....that's the mad way to do it

yah 100 posts,

yeah i know it's nothing, but it's a start, right?
