I'm going to start this off by saying "Yes, i know get what fits and go to a boot fitter." but i want to know what works best for you in terms of preventing shin bang. Right now im having a terrible time with my nordica shit rod whatevers. Its to the point that i cant ski more than 5 hours a day and then cant ski at all for the next week. So NS, what boots give you the least amount of shin bang? (search bared)

no boot reduces the chance of "shin bang". Any badly fitted boot could potentially hurt your shins.

The best way to get a comfy boot, is go buy what is recomended by a good boot fitter and let them actually fit the boot for you.

last year i got to full tilt booters, i hated them, got bad shin bang all the time, went to a shop, tried on some more boots (this year) and decided that my foot isnt too wide and got the hot doggers, it took a while to break them in but after 10 days or so of skiing they feel great and havnt got any shin bang yet, but all and all, get a boot that fits homie

What I do, and everyone else should too, is take an iron pipe to your shins for a few months before ski season. Just beat the living fucking out of them! It will kill all the never endings, and you will never get shin bang again!

when racing horses get run to hard they get "shin bang" (the backseat landing kind) and to prevent them from slowing down from pain they kill the nerves in their legs and the horses will run until their legs snap.

lol u wanna knows a boot that wil help shinbang but u alreay know about getting fitted wut?

my bro just went from krypton rampages (fitter in aus who put em on after he told him he skis park) to a lang rx 130, from a real boot fitter, says skiing has never felt so good.

get fit silly

surprisingly this isnt true and the wallisch boots fit wider than the classics (dont take my word for it but thats what the bootfitter said)

The goalie on my lacrosse team had me hit him in the shins with my stick before everygame. Also I heard a rolling pin works well. Or not landing backseat.

konflict and hot dogger have the same shell different tongue. 6 flex is great for all mountain and if you want stiffer/not then get a new tongue they are like $40 or so
