HELP! i got a pair of 1080's the ancient orange ones. i am after sum fat skis that i can use in the park 2. i narrowed it down 2 seth pistols, line mo'ships, line eric poll pro mods, and armada arv's. heard scratch bc's break easy so i aint botherin. i want a ski where i can hit bc booters but can nail the park between hikes. i got my heart set on the arv's but its goin 2 cost $849 2 get them 2 england (where i live) then i gotta put bidings on em. im cool 4 cash, loads of savin up but i can buy 2 pairs of lines 4 the price of the arv's and shipping! any views???

theres nothing wrong with the question but just look back a page or two and youll be guaranteed to find like 5 posts asking essentially this same thing, just dont be a lazy asshole. but still buy seth pistols.

massivewhatever is a dumbass. if you see any of last year's parkasauras photos all the K2 guys were on the Pistols. there isnt a lot of powder in england, is there? well, in any case the pistols are probably your best bet

so if there isnt alot of powder in england, why would you want a ski that is aimed more toward big mountain? no there is not a problem with the pistol in the park, I just think i arv would be better.

uh, you people are morons. most skiers in the UK dont ski in England, given that most of the uk skiing is on rubber. they head down to germany, austria, france, switzerland, and italy...

dude sum of u hav never left the states hav u. well im workin in france 4 6months in a ski resort cos theres NO snow here. anyways the seths will cost bout $600 here or £400. i gotta right the arv off cos if i fuck em up i gotta post em 2 the states 2 get em fixed! delivery from getboards.com is $164. fuck that 4 a game of darts. its down 2 seths an mo'ships i think. dont no any1 who has ridden the eric polls only the english line pro rider but havent spoken 2 him since last season. got a feelin the pistols will b a bit soft tho... keep postin!

 
Advice: don't ask about equipment on here. 90% of people have only skied one ski and they'll say it's the best for you because it's what they ride. Ask on powdermag.com if you want some good advice.

UK represent. I'm riding the plastic (Hillend, Edinburgh) twice a week all summer, the Val d'Isere and Les 2 Alpes lined up for the winter.

all those fuckin tards that are saying get the ARVs over the pistols cuz the pistols are too big are fuckin stupid. the pistols are only 5mm wider than the ARV. thats not much of a difference if you ask me. so. dont be sayin the pistol is too big then say get the ARVs or whatever, and if you didnt know. the motherships are wider than the pistols, at 97mm

dude its down 2 the pistols or ships but i think pistols are gonna win. jus the length and binding im not sure of now. im 6'4, 180lbs but 189 in pistols is huge. my 1080's r 177! but 179 is a lil short 4 me i think. i heard a review on the s912ti binding and they said they were dodgy. any views?
