Which editing software?

I'm lookin to get some software to make a few ski edits. I tried using sony vegas last season but it was real confusing for me given a small time frame, so I just used a cheap one my friend had but I'm looking for one with more capabilities/features/options. I need something that will get the job done and give me a little room to grow n learn with all the features but I need something thats easy to use for the most part because I dont really have all that much experience and dont care to go real in depth to learn it all. I thought I could figure out vegas but it just seemed like I needed to keep looking up what the features and buttons did or meant, and even then there were some problems. So if anyone has a good suggestion hit me up here.

Also, I know its asking a lot of help but if someone could help me out with a good version of their suggestion that I could download instead of buy that would be sick cause im in a money bind for a while but would like to start playing around on it soon. Ive used torrents a few times to download movies but i havent used it in a while so i dont remember all that much and am not confident i could figure out the whole key generator bit without help (im assuming id need to do that with a download?). idk, thanks for all the help guys

im pretty sure i said i used vegas off of recommendation from here (along with avid which i forgot to meantion) and didnt like them. thus im not sure how much looking thru the searchbar again and again will do if i dont know what im looking for and most people are asking about macs anyway

Adobe Elements sounds about right. Its an easier version of Premiere Pro, so it won't be too complicated, but it still offers many more features than other programs, like WMM and such.

As for the download, here ya go:

Hopefully this works for you! Go ahead and PM me if you have any more questions. I use Premiere Pro, so I probably can't help you with Elements, but feel free to ask, and maybe I can help :)

thanks a ton, its looking like this is the direction ill go, and ill be sure to hit u up if i run into problems. just in case there are other similar programs that other people use does anyone have any other suggestions?
