Which collage

im thinking about going to collage in Montana or Colorado. i dont know much about the schools there, i have just started research today. any suggestions
 
well first off, i would probably learn how to spell COLLEGE, and then work on that for a while...and then look at some
 
i was planing on living, and working in the state where i choose to attend school for a year prior to actually starting my first year
 
takes a lot more than that to get residency in a state.

I had to move - register to vote - get a license - start work - buy a car and insure it and register it in the state - and not have my parents claim me on their taxes.

They chose to guy by the date I purchased my car which was almost an entire year after I had already been living there.

So it could take you more than just a year.

If you know someone there, I would start before you move out there. Ask if you can get your mail forwarded to their address and just mail it to you every 2 weeks. Register to vote with their address and do an absantee ballot. Go to the DMV if you can and get a drivers license. Get a Library card...

I'm serious, they are cheap about this cause out of state tuition is how they make a hell of a lot of money.
 
from what i've heard colorado schools > montana schools

university of colorado @ boulder is good
 
If your looking for a good ski college, then Montana State University in Bozeman is def where it's at. Spent my freshman year there...skied/drank too much...lost my scholarship...yada yada yada. Plus Bozeman's just a sick town.
 
just stay in oregon. theres good skiing there. No reason to go anywhere else unless its for academics.
 
You can always make a collage in the comfort of your home by cutting pictures out of magazines and glueing them all together on a sheet of paper, cardboard, bristol board or some other media.
 
Man you don't know anything about living in Europe OR Colorado...

All you have to do to become a Colorado resident is: own/operate a business here, live here for 90 days, become employed in Colorado.

Once you are a resident, you have to register your vehicle in Colorado. If it takes you more than a year to do that...God help you.

Good point, she made a comment in another thread about how much easier life would be if she moved to Europe. She has a college degree and somehow couldn't get more than $10 so she said she could do the same work for like $40 and hour or something in Europe. I lived in Europe for 5 years so I had to let her know that was mostly BS and she shouldn't do it.
 
it may only take 90 days to be a legal resident of the state but to qualify for in state tuition you have to have lived in colorado for a year, track every dollar you spend and document where it came from and what you spent it on. you cant be supported by your parents at all. you have to prove that the money is coming from you. then you have to document it on a month by month basis and petition the school for in state tuition and give the school all your financial records and shit from the past year. This is for CU boulder i dont know about any other schools. its a major pain in the ass.
