Which Car?

Trying to make a decision on which one of these cars to get. Not looking for others to make my decision I'm just wondering what everyone's opinions is because it's a pretty tough choice, I do like all of them. Here are my 3 main choices as of now:

1. 2002 Audi TT Quattro - $10,995

225 horsepower I4

Cold Air Intake

Blow Off Valve

Turbo

Extra Set of Rims with Winter Tires

All Wheel Drive

89K Miles

2. 2006 Acura RSX Type S - $9,000

200 horsepower V6

A Spec Body Kit

Front Wheel Drive

101K Miles

3. 2004 BMW 325XI - $10,995

185 horsepower I6

102K Miles

All Wheel Drive

Normally I would say jump on the Acura because of reliability, however, the fact the the Audi is all wheel drive is important if you are a skier

RSX no doubt about it. TT is kinda girly, BMW isn't reliable enough, the acura is just sick. the RSX is an awesome car man

That's kind of a tough choice, I would say acura but it's front wheel drive, and the TT would be pretty fun but as said before it's pretty girly. If you don't need four wheel drive, I think the acura's the best choice.

dont buy the tt- whoever was dumb enough to put a blow off valve on a car with a MAF is a fucking retard and probably abused the shit out of it.

seriously though- who the hell put a bov on a car that has a MAF? idiots thats who
also the tt isnt quattro its a haldex awd which is better for daily driving, not so much for going fast.

I'd go with the bimmer. I'm very partial to inline 6s, great motors. Also, it's got more room, better ride and AWD/5spd if I'm not mistaken so there you go... My .02... Just please don't turn into a bimmer douche please- It's not a Ferrari. Try to remember that.

Wikki is 100% right on the TT, whoever owned that thing just wanted a turbo car to beat and impress girls by going WOT--->BOV and back again ten thousand times. Don't buy their problem.

I thought the RSX was a 4-cylinder?

Anyways, TT is not practical for a mountain car, even with awd. The rsx wouldn't be horrible in the snow as long as you get decent winter tires, and the bmw would cost more to maintain, but has more room for mountain trips.

They all have their positives and negatives, decide what you really need in a car and then it will be an easier choice.

I actually think you might be right, my bad. But as of now I'm leaning toward the RSX. Sure it doesn't have AWD, but with the money I save I can buy an extra set of black rims with winter tires on them and some other upgrades too. I'd also switch out the spoiler for a smaller one cause I think it looks kind of stupid.

get the audi or beamer. Both are awd and are great. Also i am pretty sure you could probably find a better deal on a similar bmw. My dad got a 2002 325xi wagon with 75k for 9,000. It has also been super reliable, i would recommend it in a heartbeat.

that's definitely up for debate...

i would never buy my son any of those for his first car. he's pretty much asking for you to race around in a poor mans sports car acting like you're above the law.

Acura for sure. Very easy to maintain, and will be more reliable in the long run than the Audi and BMW. I work at a shop and Audis are super expensive to fix, and are in here all the time, and the beemers arnt too far behind them.

I had my brother's Audi TT quattor for a week about a month ago and it rips. I'd definitely go with that.

my bad RSX, still a no though. the bmw has 100k+ plus don't get it. TT uses haldex awd, aka it sucks.

seriously get an a4, its similar to your other cars, uses torsen awd, aka much better than haldex and you can get an 02-04 with under 80k miles for about 7.5-9k.

It's not my first car but I understand what you're saying. And I'd say the beamer is a pretty respectable sports car for it's year.

fucking rice burner nation right here....some people have absolutly atrocious taste in cars. Great car don't ruin it by making it look fucking stupid.

That was really just an example of general body kits.. I'm aware that one looks pretty stupid. I'm just showing that there are ways of making it look less girly.

Go RSX. Most reliable, FWD can do just as well in snow as AWD if you get good snow tires. You can still fit your ski stuff in, it may just be a little cramped. I would stay away from Audi, unreliable and very expensive to fix.

If I get the RSX I plan on putting a ski rack too, my friend has one on his and it looks pretty sick and works out well.

All of those cars have a ton of miles on them. I would suggest either raising your budget for less miles, or even look at less foreign cars, with lower miles.

where i live TT drivers are either middle aged rich women or bros...., i'd go for the beamer...

I wasn't sure if you could rack an RSX, I don't think I have ever seen one but it would definitely look sick and be real convenient. Good luck with your choice.

The audi isn't very practical for transporting ski gear, it's still a nice car though..

It would go with either the BMW or the acura. I'm guessing that you're a young driver and as you know, insurance isn't cheap. The insurance on the BMW will probably be more expensive then the acura. Another thing to keep in mind is that you will pay a lot more money for repairs on the BMW then on the acura.

If you think you can afford the repairs and the insurance on the BMW, then go for it. If you feel like you're going to become a financial slave to your car then go with the acura which is still a great car. The acura is a manual which is in my opinion, more fun to drive.

Tough decisions though

The TT if your a 17 y/o spoiled girl, the 325xi if you want a car that's actually useful and fun to drive. Or look for a 330xi, which is even more fun
