for me it would the salomon pro, but it really depends on your foot

yea, sean is right. the only way to find if a boot is good for you is to get fitted by a good salesperson at the store.

ill lay it out for you

salomon-wide, high volume boot

rossi-low volume boot, very tight fitting

lange-in between the two, but ive heard of people with the boot getting shin-bang, which isnt good

if you have wide feet dont get the lange jibs. lange is known for being narrow

the best boot is the one that fits your foot best. comfort is the most important thing with a boot.

remember, ski boots are like women, the tighter the better and the older ones are rear entry.

i would suggest you try them all first. i have had the salomons and and the lange concept. personally the concept boot has been the best for me. but once again try before you buy.

...a n i m o s i t y.....

I've got freeride XX's and they rock. I have quite narrow feet. They shouldn't be too different fromt hte freeride X

Freshies for a week after a dump? Temple Basin - Hell Yeah!

langes will give u bang if they dont fit right, if they are fit well they wont hurt your shins

-jon, skiing the ice so the other half of the country doesnt have to.

dude the salomon pro model is a race boot so its flex is gonna be high... but the 1080 has a flex of 75 which is decent. i have the 03' 1080 boots and they kickass. i recommend em if your an right coaster cuz of the bumps/ice and u'r also gonna be skiing park. but i wouldn't get em if u ski out west because of the pow difference they suck in pow unless u'r real good at it. lange=shin bang

Rossi=decide for your self

The pro model isn't a race boot but yes, it is based on the Salomon race boots, the 1080 boot's are based on the X-wave model so they aren't as stiff like he said. It really depends which one fits better and how much you weigh, if you want to go salomon, most pros go with the pro model but if you aren't as heavy or not as agressive get the 1080's, it doesn't matter which you get because they both look the same for 2003, I've seen the rossis and they look good too but I haven't tried them yet...
