Which binding

im 5'7'' 140lbs. im in park all of the time. Which binding would be best for me? Marker griffons or rossignol freeski2 140s? Which binding doesnt pre-release as much, which is better for spins, and overall which is the better binding?
 
The rossi freeski2 140 s are a good binding, u'll never have any problem with them. I've had them for going on four years now and have had zero pre-releases, i'm 200lbs, and have a 316bsl, so I ride at about 10
 
i'm torn between this too: griffon, freeski 140, and sth 14 driver is the choice.

Head/tyrolia is not an option and fks is out of pricerange.

Any thoughts?
 
Thrills peak, head mojo, and 4frnt daedbolt are all same exact binding I would get one of those in a twelve or 15 there is no need for anything higher than that. They are very nice durable light and safe bindings if that is not enough tanner hall uses them if u need another reason, I know that u shouldn't base what u buy on what pros use but it shows that they arent cheep bindings
 
Go with either the griffon or the STH driver. The driver toepiece is a great upgrade from the one last year.

I like the griffon because of the low mounting profile on the toe and low swing weight that it offers.
 
Ok they are going on atomic blogs, so swing weight is not nessicarely my first priority.

The way I see it, the griffon is cheapest but maybe also the least durable. The rossi/look/dyna px gets great reviews but is on the heavy side. The salomon I don;t really know that much about besides that i have been reading mixed reviews about them. The driver toe piece should make it a lot better though as you mentioned.

So i make my decision based on the above info? anything else anyone wants to add?
 
I have blown out salomon heel pieces in the past skiing big mountain, but after inspecting the new sth12drivers they are a very well constructed binding,so those in a 14 or 12 is a good quality vs. cost, as is the head/tyrolia/4frnt binding, but i dont really like the little rubber track they used to use under the ball of the foot, im not sure if they are still in practice. i wouldn't buy griffons, because i would just save up the extra dough for jesters; if you're gonna go ahead and spend that much money on binders, get one that will last 4-5 yeas or more with proper maintenance.hope that helpz.
 
the Marker freeski line are in my opinion generally the best performance bindings taking in to account weight and durability.
I ride with Jesters and they are by far the strongest bindings out for how much they weigh. However, i think it is worth looking in to the PX Look series bindings as well as they are also a great binding
