Im looking for over the head design...So its either the Crushers, Hesh, GI, TI, or Icon. Hows the sound and which ones do you like the best? The TI looks the sickest

skullcandys blow. seriously. every single pair ive listened to sounds like crap, and ive tried just about all thier headphones. if your looking for SQ, get some Sonys, the MDRVJ700s (the big nasty silver ones) are the best headphones you can buy for under 150 bucks, and they can be had for 70-80 on ebay. the 500s are not too shabby either and look the same, just black. those are about 50. i have had my 700s for 3 years, and every single day i thank myself for buying them. they are tough, sound amazing, and will not blow out (handle 3Ws max power). plus they make damn good earmuffs. do yourself a favor and buy headphones from an audio company, not some trendy startup operation.

Uhh, skull candy is just some stupid trend started by the gangster kids. This has nothing to do about "supporting" the ski industry. Do they give money to help forward skiing? No, so they are not "supporting" the ski industry. If anything they are "taking" from the ski industry in the form of taking your money so you can't give it to an actual ski company.
Get your head out of your ass and buy headphones that sound good, not ones that everyone else wears because they think they're cool.

BAHAHAH! are you retarded?! headphones are NOT part of the ski industry, they're the personal electronics industry. your proof that their marketing strategy is working, put out sub-par audio equipment, and advertise it as "newschool" and "trendy", and dumbass lil kids will eat um up.
and obviously you know nothing of audio equipment, cause if you did youd realize that those headphones are a JOKE. the frequency response is horrible, they dont handle shit as far as wattage, and the build of them is just low par.

ok i have some nice headhphones and some ti's, now the ti's cost me $20 vs my nice pair that i paid $160 for, now who wants to ski and shit with expensive headphones cuz if they break you are gonna be hella bummed. my skullcandy'sa are my backups and they actually sound decent for what they are so dont bash on them, oh my friends gi's sound pretty good tho

For the same price as a pair of whack skullcandy's (which truely do sound like shit) you can get a much better set of headphones.
If you buy an expensive pair of skullcandy's, well, you're just an idiot. I don't agree that Sony's are good headphones, or Aiwa,, but he's dead on about skullcandy. I'd highly suggest Grado Labs SR60 - they sound fantastic and they're pretty damn cheap. Sennheisers are also pretty wicked

1. Grado are quite expensive ($70-$1000!!) and they don't look durable at all, i would never ski with those on my head.
2. Skullcandys are made for sports pretty much, Sennheisers aren't.
3. Grado and Sennheiser might sound better, but are not worth the money unless you make money from them (dj, music producer, etc.)
Overall, skullcandys are worth their money and i would much rather buy them, than some other headphones for twice the price with that aren't twice as good.

Skullcandies dont have the greatest sound quality, but they are sick. I love my crushers, and love the bass. Mine were around $35, i'd say thats cheap
I've listened to some BOSE and some other $250 headphones, i forgot the brand though. Of course the sound was 100x better in these.
In all honesty tho, the only thing i use my skulcandys for is skiing and sometimes just chillin. I would never, ever, bring a $100+ pair of headphones onto the slopes. i've fallen on my skullcandys a few times, and they have yet to break. i'd rather lose $35 then around $100/$200, just because the sound was better. I dont care about superduper quality when im skiing, its the beats i care about. i can feel my crushers bouncing, its sick. and, skull candy has their lifetime warrenty.
If you ran a company, or a true gamer, get a nice $100+ pair of headphones. if you wanna ski and listen to some tunes, pick a pair of skullcandys. sheesh

just so everyone knows, there are 13 dollar headphones that sound better than skull candies (unless you're into that huge bloated bass sound).

Would some big headphones with lets say 50mm drivers be as loud as smaller headphones with 30mm drivers (for instance skullcrushers and icons)
My mp3 player tends to not put out that much volume on some songs, and enough on others. pretty much the same song. Is there any way i can amp up the song itself on my computer.
