Which are cuter, kittens or puppies?

I am a dog person fo sho, but my mom won't let me take the family dog to school with me. so I am thinking about getting a puppy. but puppies are expensive and you dont know the dogs personality really, you could end up with a hyperactive/incontinent dog which would suck.

but puppies are extremely cute. so I think my options are either get an adult dog and a kitten, or get a puppy. I think even though I love dogs there is nothing cuter than a kitten.

Puppies are a lot of fucking work, if you are going to school, an adult dog that is housebroken and somewhat trained already will be much easier. A cat is also pretty easy going as well, they don't have the behavioral problems that dogs do. It's very easy to teach a cat to use the litter box.
 
yeah but i have raised puppies before, i like taking care of them cause it makes them like you more

and cats can definitely develop behavioral problems. my cat kai that I got in first grade used to be so awesome but all he does now is whine. he never shuts the fuck up, I hate it. he constantly wants food and is kinda fat and it pisses me off, I scream "shut the fuck up" at him but he only whines more

i bet eventually science will make something like a pitten, puppy mixed with a kitten, but it will be too cute that it will ultimately cause the downfall of civilization as we know it
 
well what kind of house are you getting, do you plan on having lots of parties and people over all the time or is it gunna be a chill house. i dont see having a cat as being a good idea in a party house. on the other hand if you get a med-big dog that you treat right and isnt a sketchy type(pitbull or rotwiler) they can be fine around a bunch of people. you should probably keep them in your room if your throwing a rager again i dont know what kind of a house setting your planning on getting into. Personally i would go for a male lab or similar puppie on top of that you'd have the dog for a good part of your life (my moms college dog died when she was almost 40, you will have a really close bond with your pet.
 
puppies might be cuter but when they grow up they're big and smelly while cats still stay pretty small. Plus you could take lolcats pictures.
 
the thing is puppies are ridiculously expensive. i want a purebred pup. either a husky, dobe, red setter, lab, or rotty. oh and fighting/guard dogs are chill as long as you treat em right, they are extremely loyal and only misbehave if you abuse them.

my current dog is the definition of canine excellence. my previous dog was pretty awesome though. she was a golden, her name was kira. she was sooooo smart it blew my mind. I could tell her to lie down and stay, place a piece of steak two inches from her nose, and leave the room for 5 minutes, come back and she wouldn't have moved. she could also find people she knew on command. and she heeled perfectly, I could walk her while riding my bike without any leash. she was perfectly adapted to living with humans. but she only loved my mom, not me. and my dad and stepdad, cause they were older than me. she liked men, but not boys.

my current dog is the shit though. he is a red setter and is soooo awesome, he is seriously the cutest dog I have ever seen. hes also extremely confident and handsome. he also exercises himself by chasing birds in my yard.

my preference is dogs and if those dogs are really cute, ive never really liked cats that much but i love dogs
 
get a puppy!! they are sooooo cute.

i have a cat and a dog, the cat is fucking 18 and pretty much a waste. i love him and all but he just sleeps on my dryer ALL day/night. my dog is much nicer at an older age too he is only 9 but still. i remember my cat used to be really nice, now he will even bite my mom which is crazy cause she raised him. i wasn't ever bored when my parents got him. like i said my dog is still awesome so get the puppies. cause cats get gay at older ages.
