Where's the best park in your area?

I'm doing a bit of research here, if you guys don't mind helping!

I'm trying to find out which are the parks with good park scenes kicking around. Try to name the best one or two in the region...

If someone has already said the resort that you like best, please enter in a vote of "I" for the resort!

Then I'm going to try to map all the cool parks around North America.

Louise or COP. Louise isn't cancelling their park next year. I emailed them and they said that was a lie.

Lake Louise is the best all around park for sure. Nakiska has good tables and a smooth flow but only a few rails. COP has two good tables and decent rails.

If I was to choose only two places to ride I would say Louise and Nakiska. Does that help you out?

the flow at louise was amazing this year, and nakiska always has the biggest and best jumps but their rail selection is pretty weak, and cop is always fun to ski, def top 3 are nakiska, lake louise and cop

Hahaha, Oh god. No sir. I dont know how to respond to that. Mainly because I don't know if you are serious, or if you just feel you've gained enough "internet confidence" to test this forum with terrible responses, or if you ate paint chips when you were younger. But whatever the case.... Hahaha, Oh god..

omg omg Mr. Bishop posted in the Calgary/Banff Forum.

but serously. If You like small tables, Icy landings, and a shortage of rails then CANYON is your hill

but the best is C.O.P.,Louise,Nakiska,for park, Sunshine, and Castle mountain(a little ways a way but what ever)for powder i guess, and Kicking horse for steeps and powder

whoa this is the first time i've been in this forum... does anyone recognize me?

Nakiska was the best for jumps a couple years ago, Then Clayton left... it just hasn't been the same.. in my opinion.

Canada Olympic Park's Jumps were the best they've been in years, at least i think they were, and they have an okay selection of rails; the only drawback is it's very rare to see a lip up to the rail, it's all buttered.

As far as Sunshine goes, it's my favorite place to ride, however their park is lacking. I think they have the widest selection of rails though, and their usually fairly well kept. Also, their lift set up, in my opiniion, is by far the best of any of the local hills... Louises' just pisses me off, they're all so fucking slow.

Overall, I think Louise was the best, for park anyway. They had a good selection of rails, from small ride on boxes, to some larger rails, with smooth ride ups. Their jumps were the best in the region, some fairly big ones, nothing HUGE, but still made for a super fun day.

Although, now that i think about it. As far as size, selection, and difficulty goes. Fernie had the best park. Only it was situated in a fucking awful spot. A 15+ minute quad chair ride, to the park, then a 10 minute ride back to the chair from the park. If you have a Snowmobile/knew someone at the hill, or were stoked about hiking for the entire day, then it's amazing. It had by far the biggest, sickest rails in the region, widest selection as well. As far a jumps go, they had the most unique features, from some massive butter boxs which double as pretty huge hips, to some fun step ups, they had it. If you're looking for your basic tabletop/jump, they didn't have the biggest, but they had things other parks didn't. If they install a lift that caters specifically to the park, then it's totally worth the 3 hour drive from Calgary. There's also some sick BC, and some nice spots to build your own kickers into some deep powder.

I ski the Fernie Pow cause i grew up there and well yeah no better snow in 3 hour drive, and i ski the louise and nakiska park. i only really went to COP cuase i got the pass for 100$, i dont really like the hard core 14 year olds
