Where's the best park in your area?

alright shelby you can type a paragraph but.... its on..... lets go picture for picture. we have had bitches in hot tubs filmed from the top of the chairlift, a hummer with rails on top (that stays in OH smith limo dont count), heli photo shoots over snowcats and nigs going over 100+ feet.... our groomer has a resume longer than the drive from OH to Marquette and can back up anything you challege him to build..... we got the bitches, we got the party, we got the jumps, we got the heli, we got the hummer, we got the vibe, what you got?
 
not hating on snowtrails, only heard good things and plan on attending hte big air, i just think we have the best park in the midwest

This is intense....... And i hate the "Who has the best.." arguments. Of course, everyone is gonna say their home hill, because that's where they ride, and love it there. See, I like Perfects, because i know all the kids in the park, and they make it amazing. WE have such good talent in our park, even the randos kill it.

making fun of what people wear while skiing is so hot right now. Skiing is such a fashion show, and if you aren't "in" you should indeed cut yourself.
 
all the different mountains should just have have one big brawl, like in anchorman. that would definetely settle everything.

When i said post a pic of some unique features. a hot tub full of girls, and a 250lb man are not what i had in mind, but if that's what makes your park good, than that's what you got.

Sorry guys but, marquette doesn't have any bodygaurds, guns, or hot tubs. and it won't. because you don't need that to go skiing.

Maybe if i skied in the ghetto of cinnci i would need that.

I would love to see all these Ghettoed out skiers walk into a real ghetto and get shot for dressing and acting like you act.

Get real, Grow up, And go skiing.

you forgot to mention the girls, we need that!!!! why not have all this fun on top of a dope park? driving to the resort putting on your skis on, shredding, then going home isnt all the fun in skiing..... what about the partyin and the bitches? not interested in girls shelby?
 
Novelties like helicoptors, sluts, and ghetto kids are all good; props to snowtrails for having those things (cept maybe the ghetto kids). But that stuffs got nothing to do with whether your PARK is any good, or whether theres any good actual skiing.

From the pics, it looks like snowtrails has some solid setups, especially considering what kind of snowfall ohio gets, but theres just no way its better than what MQT has had. Not only do we get an assload of snow and have one of the tallest hills in the midwest, but on any weekday, our hill is deserted. This pretty much means anyone who's any good has both of MQT's parks to themselves, which is something that ive never experienced anywhere else.
 
this is what i'm gonna say about snowtrails... with our tiny ass hill, and our minimal snowfall, i think that we do more with what we have than any other resort, period. we may not have 3 60 foot jumps in a row, that's because it would be impossible. we make the absolute best park logistically possible. our cat driver is absolutely amazing. our snowmaking capabilities are so outrageous you'd have to see it in action to believe it. our park builders have ideas and imaginations that pale in comparison to none. i don't think any other park/grooming/snowmaking team could do any better than what we are doing.
 
why does there have to be a best? there should just be fun places to go skiing. just like skating, you've got burnside in oregon and you've got the brooklyn banks in nyc, each place just another great spot to skate at. being involved in building mm parks from the groundfloor up, skiing all over the country with my film company, and moving to cincinnati for business, i have had the opportunity to see most of what these places have to offer and you know what?

itswhat you make of it, be it a little kid in his backyard(pete proos in the end of levin's movie scandalous, for the people that have a sense of history),to skiing and snowboarding on landfills(where i started), to the deep snow and treeskiing of mount bohemia. its all the same physics, go ski with your friends!

and for the kid that came across attitude in mm park, its unfortunate you came across that, and i'm confident in saying that if you go back it will be a positive experience.

oh and if the skatespot simile doesn't apply to you maybe surfing might. a 20 foot wave might be perfect for some people, but to me it's a watery grave. give me a 3 foot day with all my friends and it makes the same smile that i have setting up urban in cincinnati or skiing pow in marquette.

that's why i like mt brighton. we may not have the best jumps or rails, but every kid there is stoked to be riding and there is never any negativity towards fellow riders. get the fuck over it i'm sure snowtrails and mm both have epic parks even with their midwest locations. if you look at the original post it says best 1 or 2 parks...everyone can be a winner! ha
