I'm doing a bit of research here, if you guys don't mind helping!

I'm trying to find out which are the parks with good park scenes kicking around. Try to name the best one or two in the region...

If someone has already said the resort that you like best, please enter in a vote of "I" for the resort!

Then I'm going to try to map all the cool parks around North America.

Alpine Meadows 5 votes

Mammoth 3 votes

Northstar 2 votes

Sierra 1 vote

I think Doug meant to keep a tally, I'm not sure.  I added my votes to the tally.

Mammoth is very sick, but I think Alpine's scene is very unique for the area. there are so many people riding there that are doing really progressive thing on Alpine's amazing setup. The vibe i get there is like nowhere else, even mammoth.

mammoth/june, june is about as good as mammoth but is way less crowded and it is where alot of the locals go so there arent many inexperienced tourists.

in socal though the best is bear

Everyone that skis at Mammoth is freakin' crazy. I'd say Sierra at Tahoe only because barely anyone even rides the Bashful park cause its too hot to handle!

Most of the reason no one rides there is because its in the middle of f*#@ing nowhere.

1. Alpine (biggest jump in tahoe)

2. Boreal (most jibs in tahoe)

3. Sierra at tahoe (big jumps plus nice flow to the rail section)

4. Northstar (nice flow, good scene.. could have better jumps)

Alpine or Sierra for quality, Northsatr or Boreal for quantity, Squaw is best in the spring...

I'm not including June or Mammoth because they are too far to drive for a day

because i have to be different i love bear mnt. cuz it is so close to me and the season passes are so inexpensive, plus they change it all the time

1. alpines jumps are killer

2. b-real is fun cause you can lap the park all day

3. northstar has some killer sliders and jibs but its hard to get a lot of runs in unless u ride on the weekdays a lot
