...are the best booters right now? Are there any stepover type of deals anywhere? Step downs are fun too. Whats better or will be in a couple weeks, Gaurdsmans or Alta/Little Cottonwood?
Alta is mostly grassy and not so rocky, and Grizzly is a little less rocky than Guardsman's. If you find a good spot up at alta it's probably your best bet... I think you might be able to find a good spot up by the top of Wildcat lift if you want to go that high
I was up at alta two days ago and went up to point supreme up there at 10,500 the snowpack is deeper than my prob in spots...lower on the mountain albion basin has a good 2-3 foot coverage...
DAMN... I had no idea it had actually melted that much. I guess I forgot that Mid June is almost the middle of the Summer. I hope everyone is still up for the uber duber session I thought there was more snow. QUESTION FOR REAL THEN: Will it be possible to hit jumps much longer? Or is it kinda getting to be rail season?
we hit a little stepover at the very base of alta on saturday. there's still plenty of snow. just make sure you got some salt. should be good for a bit, especially if you're willing to hike.
You kidding me? I have been waiting since February 8th ski outdoors! Ill hike miles! Glad to hear jumps are still at the bottom so we don't have to hike to the top until the week after haha. Im pretty excited to get some good jumps in. I hope your step up is still hittable a week from today!
OK EVERYBODY! Its like 8 days away Im super pumped to ski. Were doing it at Alta, I think theres this stepup were going to do but Im not totally sure. Go to Alta anyways. Bring a six pack of Carona and lime and a knife. Go TO ALTA. PM me before so we can all sess. SOMEONE please bring salt too.
could be that one, it also could be just at the hump under wildcat, I know there are jumps there even a true table style thing. Hard out. See you at Alta.
