Where is the best skiing in August???

I want to go on a trip, looking to ski trees, or backcountry, just looking for good conditions, powder and sun/warm weather (if that is even possible)!

Have any of you gone on a trip outside of NA in the summer to ski? Where was it and what was it like? Any recommendations?
 
theres a guy on the tgr forum who is looking for flatmates in LL, 10,000usd for 6 people for the season. so thats 1500ish each. You could see if you could get one of his rooms for just august, if your under 21 or so i wouldnt bother tho

 
mount hood summer ski camp. it snowed there early this week and they have had a really good year. And it starts to quite down up there in August as the smaller race camps disappear.i think the go jogging in august and do box jumps or something.

is really cheap with the money exchange compared to chile or NZ.. and here u have the best BC u;ll find in the southern hemisfere...

check bariloche and las lenas for nice backcountry. bariloche has the best party town, las lenas better park

best park Chapelco (3 hour driving from bariloche)
 
those whiney bitches who live up there really should let eclipse do their thing, the area there is actually really sick, good terrain (unlike echo).
