Where to ski in the US?

I'm from Australia and my family are heading over to the US in January. We'll be heading to the East coast and are looking to get some days skiing in.

I love park but the rest of my family would be after intermediate groomers.

Where do you guys think would be ideal?

Cheers!

I dont know much anything about places out east but if you can Jackson Hole, Kicking Horse, and Revelstoke are North American must ski destinations

If your in Utah check out Pow Mow. I've honestly had more powder days there then anywhere else due to how freaking huge it is and the general lack of people.

breckenridge, vail, beaver creek (ideal place for your family setting, kind of expensive if you are crashing at the resort), keystone,

Big sky, bridger bowl, whitefish

TAHOE

snowbowl, timberline, mt hood meadows, other places in oregon in that area.

ha okay. well you said cali and utah.. for cali, squaw, alpine meadows, kirkwood, are some of the best (and there's plenty of intermediate/groomer stuff). utah i can't speak from experience on but of course alta and all those other mountains east of salt lake city are amazing

my favorite? squaw/alpine meadows (same ticket)
