Where to ski in october?

Im looking for a destination with a decent park for my reading week! Is that possible ? 9-19th of october! States? Mt hood? Enlighten me pleaze!

I know they have a long season, but do they really open that early?

I think Wolf Creek and Crystal opened in October last year (though the latter's was a very limited opening), not sure how typical that is for those two.

A Basin opened on the 13th of October last year, so the potential is there for them to be open that early this year as well. Especially if we get this "El Nino" winter or w/e they are predicting!

Cannonsburg Michigan. Huge rail jam is going on october 18th. Movies like Level 1s Less will be showing too.
