I`m studying aboard in england and am going to one chance in the end of november to do some skiing somewhere in the europe. If anyone can give me some suggestions on where i should go that would be appreciated.
If its november you wanna go somewhere high with a glacier cos there will not be much snow in Europe then, 2alpes, Saas Fee, Hintertux, Tignes Diablerai all have parks.
how do u pronounce laax??? And, i was looking into how much it would cost to go over to chamonix, i might do that in the next couple years, it'd be so much fun.
Yeah, if in November, make sure you go somewhere where there is a glacier... last year, the world cup started in Soelden (Austria) at the end of October. I guess it's pretty decent in late November.
I like Chamonix, cheap, tons of shit to ride, the town is wickid fun, the people are nice, and the beer is chronic. Verbier is dope too, but much more expencive than Chamonix...
i wasnt going to make another advertisement for my home mountain, but if someone says st.anton i got to say ischgl

"for reals is everyone in here kidding?? OK first of all if you dont know what chads gap is thats kinda lame. Secondly They have been hitting chads gap for some time now. Im surprised now one has seen the cllip of candide thovex sticking a D spin over chads gap. Its kinda been around alot and been in a few articles." - TravisMC in a thread where everyone made fun of the creator who asked if chads had been hit with skis. thx alot
Seriously if your studying at a british uni just go whereever the ski club trip goes, there will be two one at christmas which could be anywhere (prob. france - tignes, val d'isere) and then the BUSC trip at easter which this season is going to Les 2 Alpes.
They will be awesome cos there are loads of good skiers and comps where you can win stuff etc.
Also there will be a load of guys just goin out to get pissed, true brit styleee!!!
I'm going to be studying in Luxembourg from JAN-MAY...any suggestions on where I can ski on the weekends? Somewhere close so I dont have to waste time traveling.
Yeah i say Ischgl, its an awesome place. The park wasnt great when i went, but that was only because it dumped all week. Best week of skiing ive ever had.
in france, don't bother with 3 valleys (courchevel, meribel, etc) unless you like shredding the groomers - there are better places within 50miles like Tignes, Val d'Isere, La Plagne, La Clusaz, Chamonix, etc.
