So for spring break my friend, his bro, my sis and I are driving from MN and going camping in coronado National forest near Tuscan Az. I told him i wouldn't go unless we stopped and skied somewhere ive never skied along the way. Already planning on sand dune skiing in white sands national park in NM ha ha, and I was wondering about Taos NM,/ Snow-bowl Az/ sunrise/ Mt lemmon etc.. Gonna be there around march 20th, will there be any snow? where to ski? please give some insight

Taos is sick. Go there.

AZ snowbowl is good too. Not as good as taos. If taos has snow, it has some rediculous sick terrain.

sunrise i've heard is pretty good in AZ too.

If you're near tucson, az, check out mt. lemmon a few miles from tucson. It would be worth a day to say you've skied that close to mexico. ( there is a ski area in mexico now. I forgot what its called though). It's small, but small hills like that always have a great character to them. I have had some of my best days at small, random hills. No sick pow, but just a great laid back, different atmosphere.

mt lemmon is in Coronodo national forest, real close to where im camping, but i cant seem to find the site. also will they even be open this late in the year?

are u looking for park, or more all mountain/ the biggest you can find. i have been everywhere in nm pretty much, so just pm me with any specific questions. also, come to santa fe and we can shred together!

yayy snowbowl--Our park is pretty sick right now... well best its ever been...
if your going to S bowl let me know

Don't ski in AZ. Go to Taos, unless it's snowing in Santa Fe, you can find some sweet stuff in the trees there.

TSV is a fucking gem. No waiting in lift lines, and unbelievable terrain accessible by a 15 minute hike.

taos is sick i'd reccomend it for sure, check out angel fire too that is where i usually ski and has by far the best park in nm.

hey man, do i know you? im in sf... were are u?
and ya i agree to a certain extent, but with the weather, anything bigger would melt for sure, and its def better than last year.
