Where to ski during next sumer?

Whats up guys, I'm 20 years old and currently enrolled in college in California. Thinking about planning out next summer. Throughout the winter time I ski however there is no snow here during the summer (northern california, not mammoth). I know Mt. hood is pretty awesome but is it possible to be able to ski there during the summer? What is living like and any jobs? Any other recommendations maybe even other places? Thanks

find a job at windells/mhssc/timberline and live either on campus w the camps or search for a appt in govy/welches/sandy. Or you can drop a k on a summer pass and camp all summer and live the gypsy life. Lots of options, definitely doable, i would suggest going into it with some backup change in your pocket in case shit goes down and youre not stranded 1.5 hours from portland in a tiny little ski town at the base of a volcano

If Beartooth basin is open, 100% start your summer off there. It was the coolest experience of my life. The pros and amateurs become one and everybody is super chill and having a good time. You can camp down in the valley between Red Lodge and the pass. There's plenty of good lines outside of the ski area as well. Take a week or two without working and head up there. I really don't think there is a more enjoyable place to ski.
