Where to Ski during April????

Hey, so i'm planning a trip to ski out west at the end of April. (I know odd time, but the only time we all could get off work). I am asking what resorts I should consider going to, considering the time of the year?

I just want to ski some pow / trees (nothing too crazy, got a group with mixed skill level) & ski at a place where it will take me a week to ride everything.

Any suggestions? Who has the bet conditions during the end of april??

pow and trees can be hit or miss in April. The obvious options are Whistler, Sunshine (not the best terrain but good snow) and Lake Louise all are open until May. Other hills worth considering are Kickinghorse, Revelstoke, Red mountain, which all have good terrain all just depends on snow availability. I know whistler has lots of heap ski and stay options that time of the year.

I say whistler would be the best bet, because it'll probably be the easiest to get to and most beginner friendly?
Thing is, don't expect blower pow and faceshots; its april, and it means its april in whistler as well.Just because its the west coast doesn't mean there'll be pow everywhere everyday.

Thanks everyone, I know not to expect fresh pow, but good snow coverage on ungroomed runs, and in the glades is what I'm hoping for.... and maybe a day in a slushy park!

Seymour should keep mushroom park open in like late april, they had enough snow last year, and having a jib park on both side of mushroom for like 15$ a day would be dope!!

I think its more a matter of being insured till then... Financially its not worth extending the insurance. ANd this year I doubt there would be enough snow to run that late, hell lodge is already closed.

true that, i didnt think to deep into the idea. Since they usually keep rails up for a while after the mountain is closed i thought maybe just open rope tow.
