Where to mount

Where should i mount my bindings on my 1260's? I have heard center mount them because the mount that line suggestes is to far back.

If you go off a jump and fall, try again...If you go off a jump and fall the second time, get the fuck of your skis and go home.

i just got my fujatives, and they had absolutely no mounting lines on them. so i measured them, (they are 70 inches) and then went 2 and half inches back from center (so 2 and 1/2 inches back from 35...that would be 37 and a half) They ski beautifully, that's the way to go. I got that measurement by looking at the scratches, wich are the same length, their 'more centered' line is 2 and a half inches back from true center.

First off have a shop mount them so they use a jig and don't fuck em up like you will. Second don't do what that other guy did and measure them for the center. Find the core center or balance point by putting the skies on and edge of some sort you can even use you finger. mark the skies at that point for their center. Now if you want them better for all mountain mount them there but for park go up an inch or two.

This year I hope to see more kids incorporating newschool with big mountain riding and getting out of the park.-Matt Levintal
