Where to mount my dumonts ++++karma

hey guys..

i got the 09 dumonts

176cm,,,,, STH 14 binding

i ride about 70% park and 30 % all mtn and 1 week in the west.. so i will ride some pow...

if i mount them centre... am i still abel to carve and ride all mtn......

Help me out people..
 
wouldn't that far back ruin the flex of the ski???? cuz im thinkin 1 cm back......

but again i wna go centre... just i duno if it will still perform??
 
Ya man 1 cm back sounds good if your skiing that much all mountain but it will still give you that centered feel when your throwin down in the park
 
If you plan on riding true 30%, true ALLmountain, then center is a bit far forward, and if you want to ride pow on a ski that skinny, center definitely won't help. I would say -2 is the money spot, but what do I know...seriously, I ride huge clown skis.
 
Ummm...I don't see it helping you carve, usually the carving is up to you and how you use the skis, but it might help to be over the center of the sidecut radius, unfortunately I don't know where the center of the cut is on these.
 
if your riding 70% park id go center, as long as you can ski you'll be able to carve, and mounting 1cm back wouldnt help to much in pow your going to have a hard time on them anyways in deep snow so i think center would be best
 
Centre. They're not going to ski well in deep snow anyway so there's no point compromising everything by going back a little.
 
yes of coursse you will as long as you know how to ski you will be ok on groomers. it will probably be even more fun on groomers because you will be able to ride switch easier and play the mountain more
