Where to mount bacons

gosh, i certainly love mounting threads!!! searchbar gave me a thread from 2006 and most people on here have a different skiing style than me

but i do need help here, i don't want to mess anything up and drill 2 sets of holes. so i'll be getting some 09 bacons in the mail soon and i have some fks 155's with brakes bent to fit and all and i'm wondering where to mount them. i will not mount them center, so that's ruled out. i'm 5'11, 170, and will be using these for:
east coast pow- yes there's some about once a year
trips out west- tahoe, whistler, and a trip to switzerland
just skiing around on groomers in the east, decent turning radius so just gonna see if i get asked about my water skis
very very minimal park use, might try to float in the air one day, no rails
i won't be skiing switch much, maybe once or twice ill go for a switch landing in pow, minimally once again
cliffs, some frontflips and 3's, not a lot though judging by the fact that the east kinda fails when it comes to cliffs

i'm thinking recommended but i'd like to hear input of where bacons work best for what i'm gonna be using them for. i won't go further back than recommended, i hate skis with too much tip on them. so i guess the question is recommended which is like -3.5 or something in between, -2 or wherever the bacons ski best for my skiing style

thanks for the help, sorry for another mounting thread, if there're obvious threads on this same subject, post and i'll take a look and have this deleted

If you're not gonna be skiing switch much at all, I'd say recommended. It's still close to center but it's the point that the ski will turn best forward at. I've heard people complain that recommended is too far forward for powder, and people complain that it's too far back for switch pow and landings.

i'm not worried about it being too far forward, i can handle myself in pow just fine, the question is just if i wanted to go any further forward but i'm kinda leaning towards recommended. i just wanted to hear what people had to say about where they work best

Just looked at the line site, and recommended on the bacon is only 2.5 back from center this year. I don't know if that's the same for last years, but that's what it says on the site. Pretty sure that stat is for how far back it is from true center. It says, "Stance Back mm: 25"

huh
i messaged josh about it, i've always heard that recommended was -3.5 from true center
also whoever said -3 is that from recommended or from true center?

yea im pretty sure they are 2.5 back from center. all of pollard's skis are back by about 2.5. i would mount them at recommended and i am a center mount person.

-2 from recommended?
i had the old ones at -3 from recommended and they were way too far back. i'm thinking maybe -1 from recommended
