Where to mount 08 Seths

So i always hate posting threads like these, but i just ordered my seths last night and was wondering what the best place to mount them is. Im using them for all mountain/backcountry. I was thinking -3 from center but i want some input.

I had 06 seths (same dimensions, minus the rocker) and had them at core centre +7cm from midsole but didnt like the tip dive. remounted em at around+4.5cm and really liked em there. Good for all mountain, limited switch riding. I think centre is around +11cm from mid-sole (true centre and core centre are different). So -3cm from true centre would be ahead of core centre, too far forward IMO for backcoutry/all mountain.

not when the ski is the seth which has progressive sidecut (i.e. a directional twin) and that mounting it true centre will significantly worsen the ski's performance.

if you want a symetrical ski, buy a symetrical ski. but hey, they're your skis to ruin, its up to you.

Mounting -3 from centre wouls be ridiculous for "all mountain/backcountry", no freestyle of any sort? Go +4 or +5. Seth skied the old Vicious at +5 for what it's worth.

why would early rise make mounting these true center wierd? i was thinking it would make true center better, because it lets the tips rise up even with less nose. thats just how i see it

i also got the 189s and am mounting +4 from midsole, i definatly wouldnt go past core center (+7) and whoever said they are mounting these center is a fucking dumbass

just to add on it also depends what you are planning on skiing, if your skiing a lot of open runs and really want to go fast id go back more, moving forward will help the ski turn a little quicker, but youll get more tip dive.
