Hey

We're three guys from Denmark going to Mammoth next season. We've tried looking for a place to live on different sites, but we cant find anything :-\ Seems pretty hard to find or maybe we just don't get it? :-o

Anyone who can help us finding some accommodation for the season or know anybody who can?

Thanks

you could try looking in the town of Bishop, CA which is about 30 mins south of Mammoth Lakes. It would probably be a lot less expensive and its still really close

yo screw living bishop. its like an hour bus ride, and with gas the way it is, driving every day is just retarded. i guess your best bet is www.mammothtimes.com and look in the classifieds. if you don't see anything that will work, just call one of the numbers and ask if they know of any other realtors that have what your looking for. if two of the 3 are dennis and dan, you guys better make it work.

Do you know about craigslist.com? Hope you make it here, quite a different landscape then Denmark.

^craigslist isn't much help for mammoth. listings are few and far between and they are all listed in los angeles since there is no mammoth section.

Bishop is too far. You can find cheap places in mammoth and then you don't have to drive 40 mins (assuming it's not storming. then the drive would probably take forever)

www.mammothtimes.com is a nice resource. I think that's where my roomate found the listing for the house we're currently living in. How much are you looking to spend? If you want something nice, live near canyon lodge or the village. If you want a better deal, look for something in the ghetto area. Look for apts on joaquin, mono, lupin, manzanita streets. you can usually find houses for a decent price, and you're walking distance from all the free shuttles, the village (bars) and pretty much anything else.
