Where to leave a car in SLC?

So I'm headed down from Montana to do a little spring breakin down south and i'm meeting a buddy from colorado in salt lake before we head to california. Anyways, we gotta ditch a car somewhere in salt lake for about a week and i was just wondering where we could leave it so it won't get towed/broken in to. Any suggestions? I was thinking a park and ride by a train station would be pretty legit but i figured i would see if anybody knew of someplace better.
Thanks for the help

I'll take care of it for you. Don't worry, it'll have a full tank of gas when you get back.

don't do any park and rides, or parking lots. sadly they watch those, my buddy got an overnight ticket for parking at a park n ride. my best suggestion would be somewhere not downtown, sugarhouse, or any other like, populated area's with parking passes. if i think of any though i will let ya know.

Just find a close by neighborhood that doesn't have parking passes and park it on the street. Around my house there aren't any parking passes and my roommate has two cars and leaves his truck in the same spot for weeks. But, its also close to our house so one one complains. You should be able to find a spot somewhere though. You could just post i up in a long term lot at the airport for like 10 bucks a week or something.

There is a parking lot right near the U that you can park in forever and it'll be no problem. It's like 1240 East, 55 South or so. It's on a street called Alameda.

troof shit is so big and there are never cars in it, vinny left his van there for like 4 days once.

My friend who lives right there left her car in that parking lot all summer from May to September actually and it was fine. No one even tried to steal the ski racks off the top.

It's the most enormous parking lot and generally has about 7 cars in it. do it.
