i'm goin to utah for a few days during break. which resort is the illest at this point in the season. any help is much appreciated, my friends

Always remember. . .Pray for snow

like any of the other utah threads....dont bother going to big cottonwood canyon because the resorts in little cottonwood have it beat in every way. And if you do ski in Park city at all dont bother going to any of the mountains other than park city itself. So pretty much alta snowbird are your best bets for snow and park city is you best park.

altas conditions have been off the hook this whole pass week cept for yesterday it was pretty chewd out but Its been snowing for about 8 hours down in the valley so Im sure alta just got replenished

God is an American.

Alta and Snowbird have the best terrain and snow, both are close to 200' already this year. They have the craziest terrain of any of em. You MUST go to Alta in my book. You can miss the park for one day.

yeah, snowbird is probabbly the best all around, and park city if all you want to ski is park cause snowbird got theirs up, i hear it needs quite a bit of work but i bet they'll clean it up

If you have the money I say deer valley. it has nice powder stashes and steeps...you just have to get off the groomers to find them. other than that, I agree with what everyone else had to say. park city was awesome when I went last year...had everything

don't go to deer valley. I went there the other day cause I work at the rossi test center there so it is free. anyway I would make 4-5 turns dons a face and then you hit four times that distance in flats. go to bird alta for skiing. big vert and they get by far the most pow in the salt lake area. up north you can hit up snowbasin and powder mountin. they are never crouded and very good. but they are much further from slc than other resorts.

Dude Dear Valley? Thats nice if you are mad rich and like people to shine your boot while you eat...

And how can you not include Alta Pimp guy or whatever your name is? Solitude IS cute...You have to know the good stuff there though for it to be worth it, Alta and Bird has much more accessable steeps.

Snowbasin is pretty nice for an 'intermediate' mountain. They have the downhill there so thats pretty chill. If you don't mind hiking some too, go to Powdermountain...it can be worth it, nobody knows about it ;)

Whats up man. I took a trip with a ski club to Utah, went to Park City, Canyons, Deer Valley, and Alta. All were pretty sick, esp Park City and Canyons. Alta has some nice backcountry and cliffs. Im from NY, i went to Utah for a week, and i cant stop dreaming about it, i know where i want to live for the rest of my life now..

hahahah fucking bullshit, I know park city and it isnt fucking shit compared to alta. Dont you ever compare a lame ass resort like PC to alta or snowbird ever again.

hahahahaha

The park is good if you know where to go. Alta and Snowbird is easier to get to the goods. And if you are staying in Salt Lake, its only 25 minutes away too.

For some nice intermediate skiing and good snow, hit up Snowbasin for a day too...least when I was there nobody knew about it yet cause there hadnt been any olympics...I dunno if that's still the case

We'll have you dead pretty soon.

i hate Deer Valley. Its not any better than PC or Canyons cept that the ppl are bitches. The skiing isnt nething special, the only super good thin is the food

Latvians rock harsh

alta they dont have snowboarders up there i love it because of that

that was the best masturbation session ive ever had. Ice-is-scary

There is no such thing as shitty snow only shitty skiers

wow hes a ski blader? i no longer agree with him....alta and snowbird are the best i like both...but sometimes my hate for hippies drives me insane at alta....a lot of really ugly old chicks who free-heel....but ya cant beat the skiing

Yes its true i snowblade but they really rip up the alta pow, but anyway pc has a sick park but there actual skiing terrain doesnt compare to little cottonwood

ummm i dunno to long of lines there and its not as good as alta or snowbird....but if your an east coaster its def got enough to keep you busy...

Ya brighton is alright, they have one lift im not sure what its called but its like the upper right side of the mountain that has some decent steep stuff. Their park is nto to shabby as well, but you should try to come over to little cottonwood if you get the chance.
