You guys probably get these threads all the time so sorry. I will be in steamboat for a week in march but then will take the next week somewhere in co. I am wondering where you would suggest to go. Somewhere that has good deals/ good skiing. doesn't have to be amazing park since I will be skiing with my wife. We are looking a Eldora becuase of the deals but I know nothing about the place.

So yeah, sorry to bother, but any info would be great.

My bad I look now and there are two other threads just like this right near the top. so you can ignore this, unless you want to be specific to me.

eldora is really small. thats why its so cheap. breck has good skiing for anything you want, vail is amazing on a pow day, keystone is good as well, coppers fun, pretty much anywhere in summit county is gonna be a good bet.

summit county, hooray for 70 dollar lift tickets! Along with the 70 dollars you spend you get a 15 dollar lunch bill, and 35 minute lift lines! in all honesty summit county is sick, but if you want a colorado perspective, check out mountains like Crested Butte, Wolf creek, Silverton, Loveland, Vail, Winter Park, and beaver creek. All good mountains! winterpark may be the only one with semi long lift lines

haha wait dude i agree with the other places that they aren't usually very crowded, but vail? that might be the single most crowded ski area in the state

i have never waited in line at vail. and all i ski is summit county and the lines are 5 minutes at the longest on busy days

alright I think we're dropping Eldora, but now thinking a basin and Loveland. Good idea? seems cheap and looks good, what other place should we add?
