Where to get my pass?

So i think im already getting a pc pass for park but im still undecided what to get for the better days. I'm considering Alta or Snowbird, and maybe even Brighton or Solitude.

Ive skiied snowbird pretty much since ive started skiing and i still like the terrain but im just getting a little bored, i skiied alta a little bit this year, ive liked it so far but i just dont know the mountain very well. and as for Big cottonwood resorts i know nothing

I like skiing it all pretty much but id say i would enjoy trees and mini golf lines rather than charging steep and fast

but i dunno. tell me about them, thanks and + Karma
 
Well I don't really know how you could get bored of a ski resort especially one like Snowbird. You can always step your game up with that kind of terrain. You just have to get creative and look at things differently or spin off all of the cliffs or whatever I don't know. Brighton might be what you want though, it has loads of mini golf, pillows, and all sorts of that good stuff. Solitude I know is sick because its not half as packed. Alta is also pretty incredible. When it comes to pow and good day skiing, you can't go too wrong with any of the four mentioned above.
 
if you already have a mountain to ski park at go to a resort with a lacking park....alta, bird, or the tude. and no matter what the snowbirders tell you....alta gets the most snow in an 8 hour radius. and the best snow in the world.
 
Solitude ftw. Place is sooooooooo illlllll! Is a somewhat smaller resort though, so you may get sick of it...
 
My vote is for alta, it's the only pass that I'm getting next year. It's a really sick mountain, and although lots can get tracked faster than some of the other resorts, it's not as fast as Snowbird, and if you know where to go or have some BC knowlege it's sooo easy to find fresh for a while after storms. You will learn the mountain pretty well after the first year, and you will have a whole lot of fun exploring.

Alta has EVERYTHING brighton has to offer, besides three main things:

1. Snowboarders,

2. lame management

3. you are downgrading from a shitty park to no park.

however, you have several things at alta brighton doesn't have:

1. a whole lot more vert, and acres

2. a lot more rolling terrain, making the mountain like a terrain park

3. good food (IMO)

I like the vibe better at alta. There are a the same or more cliffs, but they just aren't all in one epic spot like they are at brighton (rock gardens), and there's a lot more and better BC to be accessed.
 
I feel like Brighton has better cliffs for trickin', Lift lines are WAY better, plus there aren't as many grumpy assed old skiers. Snowboarders are the shit!
 
pretty fast on the main areas, but you can find bits of pow for a day or two after if you know where to look
 
Brighton doesn't get tracked as fast as Alta. Alta gets tracked way fast. There also ismore traffic going up to Alta than to Brighton which is a quicker ride. A huge part of the puzzle though is the type of people you like to ski with, meet up with and chat with on the lift. The people at Alta are not like the people at Brighton and you will need to make that decision. My vote is Alta.
 
If money didn't matter I'd probably be gettin pc and brighton this year, but I might take the instructor class at UU and go with the $100 alta pass so that I don't have to drop like 1k this fall on passes. Alta is also super dope I had a pass there last year and certainly didn't regret it. And there is always more and more challenging terrain so it shouldn't get boring, and generally the more challenging the terrain the slower it gets tracked out too.
