Where to get a skateboard

so i want to get a skateboard, and i want a zero because i like their promo videos from tony hawk's underground. i am looking at this website right now www.4-skateboards.com and it seems like they have some pretty good deals. what do you guys think?
 
just buy from a shop... no shipping costs, less hassle, plus your promoting them, which doesnt hurt. usually if you buy a complete they will hook you up.
 
sakte shop, not one in a mall!!!

dnt buy from CCS cuz they dnt put it together well and give u shhitty hardware and grip tape

plus you'll shop will give u stickers
 
If you use a site, or mail, acitve mailorder. SOOO GOOD. They have great service and help, and dont dick you like CCS will do.

Skateshops are great, and Zeros are ok decks. Actually they are really good from what I remember. Element, Blacklabel, Anti Hero, and Shorty's I found were good decks. As well as Flip. I loved Flip. Used to have to Rowley Victory UK. Tite as hell, now I got the Black Widow deck. (Blacklabel)
 
if your just starting buy shop blank gear its good to get you going. you never need to buy brand name boards blank decks are just as good (if your jumping down stairs and handrails) cause their cheaper and you dont feel guilty breaking them
 
Yeah shop complete is definatly the way to go... Don't buy boards just cuz you saw some b footage on a video game, buy borads beacause of shape concave etc. step on it in the shop, see if you liek the feeling of it regardless whose name is on the bottom, its stil a pice of wood no matter how you cut it. Just make sure ti feels right.

or the mouse chilling with a big hunk a cheese, ultimate style there. but yeah just go to a skate shop, or like ebay or something
