The trick he threw in Salt Lake was a corked 7 but the trick he spent a hell of a lot of time practicing (and submitted to FIS for approval) was more of a rodeo/flatspin. By his own admission, he was only 60% successful with the landing and consequently shelved it for the cork. Judges and media didn't know the difference. NBC used to have a beautiful flash animation of the damn thing but removed it off their site after the Olympics.
